28 Tournament Express & the latest 'Newport' model

Albin has just made hull 900 of the rugged built, offshore 28 Tournament Express and for the 2007 model year has made her even more advantageous by adding innovative seating for four, turning the wheelhouse into a comfortable saloon.

This area can be enclosed by an optional hard enclosure or by canvas. The new seating can be converted into a berth allowing the 28 to sleep 4 adults comfortably.

There is an optional flip down seat for the transom and the ample transom door is now standard easy boarding. Below decks the quarter berth gains height so that the occupant could sit upright. The interior has had fine wood appointments added. With these new changes 28TE is now the most versatile, rugged, offshore boat of her class.

Albin’s design philosophy shows clearly in the Albin 28 Tournament Express. Its skeg keel led Power Boat Reports to call the 28TE “the finest tracking boat of any size tested to date.” She is available as a convertible or with a wheelhouse, The 28TE sports standard Diesel power and a bow thruster that make for superior economical operation while sacrificing nothing to a twin-engine design in terms of maneuverability. Combined with her comfortable ride, legendary seakeeping, and high resale value make the Albin the perfect platform for the active boating family, because it is not always a picnic out there.
